Its not in my head its in my stomach

Today was OB appt. number two.  Brad again joined me and I have to say I am glad he came after the last appointment.  We were both nervous walking into the waiting room because it seemed to be full.  So we both just sat down and automatically pulled out our books assuming the long wait.  I had just started reading a new chapter in NEW MOON and decided a little time with my book might be okay.  We sat for about a grand total of maybe 2 minutes before I was called back.  I guess that sort of makes up for the 1.5 hour wait we suffered last month.  I found out I am now 1 pound heavier than I was 4 weeks ago and all my lab work was normal.  My glucose test was completely normal!!!  First thought I want the fully loaded Ice cream and no more of that no sugar added crap!!!  I plan on fully enjoying every second of not being pre-diabetic.  My asthma to has been kept completely at bay lately.  I have become the perfect host for my lovely little parasite.  Not only that we heard our little one's heart beat for the first time.  It took the dr. awhile to find it which made us both a little crazy.  When she did find it though it was awesome the dr. said you are definately pregnant.  It's not in your head anymore it's in your stomach haha.  The little one's heart rate is now at 167-168 beats per minute.  We have recently had a girl prediction, what do the rest of you think?  At first I thought definately girl, then a few weeks later boy, now I really don't know.  Sorry I guess my mothers intuition hasn't kicked in yet.

P.S.  I thank the good Lord for potatoes, they have been my salvation from the nausea and all day sickness.

                                                                                           Who wants a kiss????

Baby says hi, left hand at 9 weeks fetal age!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is the coolest picture of HER hand. I also am predicting a girl. Don't worry, I still haven't gained my motherely intuition yet and I am so glad that you made the comment about potatoes. That was the only thing that made me feel better was eating french fries! Lance thought I was using it as an excuse! love you guys!

Is that really a picture of your baby? WOW! What a cutie allready. I think we are having a girl too...but because I want a girl I will probably get a boy...which is good too. I just want a healthy baby. I hope we both get girls first.

Hi there! As soon as you said what the heartbeat was, I immediately thought girl....but I know it could always change! For now...I am totally thinking pink! I can't wait for you to start showing so that you can post some belly pics!

Awesome pics!! I love the way technology lets us watch those first few chapters of baby life that we wouldn't be able to see otherwise. I'm with the boat on your gender bet, and I'll tell you why. My brother-in-law predicted my Ella was a girl based on the heartbeat. He's a respiratory therapist, and said that faster heartbeats are girls. Hers was the same speed as your little one's. Now we'll just have to wait and see! Are you going to find out or wait? Oh, did you finish New Moon, then?
