Our management at work decided we were running out of room in our building so instead of getting an additional building...they have asked/told all of us to shave 3 feet off our cubicles. So I with my co-workers packed up all of our belongings and were banished from our space Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday so they could rearrange all of the cube walls and office furniture. It wasn't so bad though...my supervisor used an afternoon to take my team to see Tropic Thunder together. And I was able to work from home for two days. It's back to the slightly smaller cube on Monday. I guess I don't mind though. Once I put on my earbuds tuned to Beastie Boys or Judas Priest (check out my favorite music website Pandora.com) and stare into my two 24" monitors I couldn't care where I am sitting (yes I am a sell out).
Being home for two days was great. I even got into the action by getting a couple of cat naps in myself. It was funny to see the routine that goes on while I am away. It though I would document it now and again in about 6 months to see if anything changes.
1) Cats sit on the floor at the end of the bed and meow anytime one of us moves to let us know they are hungry and want the windows opened (or as we call it "kitty TV")
2) Once out of bed cats follow you around in and out of your feet meowing until fed and windows are opened
3) Once cats have eaten and are sufficiently full they ask for a petting session4) Cats then head off to stretch out in front of the kitty TV in the sunshine for a n
ice nap
5) Humans go off and do whatever they do
6) Cats wake up from nap when hungry, the sun spot on the floor moves, or humans are too loud
7) Cats go back to sleep in a different location
8) Humans eat lunch...time for a kitty snack and a petting session
9) Female human is tired from whatever she does in the morning staring into the white box on the desk and takes an afternoon nap. Cats encourage the good habit joining the human in a nap.
10) Human wakes up and starts making noises. Cat tries to ignore and gives disapproval through a series of grunts, moans, and stretches and then ultimately
retires to the bedroom for a quiet retreat.
11) Cats wake up around 4:30, wander around the house looking for trouble, wrestle each other until someone gets mad, play with kitty toys, and watch and try to talk to the birds in the backyard.
12) Male human returns from somewhere at 6pm. Cats run away to avoid his big feet and loudness.
13) Finish off the day by sitting on human's lap for a petting session while being rocked in recliner. Gracie on Brad's lap. Lou on Tina's lap or footrest. Exchange laps and fall asleep.

What a cute cat! Did I mention I would love to be a cat...sounds like a good life. Tina looks great for being prego!
XOXO-Erin
I think all guys should get to work from home now and then. There's no place like it. You must be having a girl bc Tina is making sure she gets plenty of beauty sleep.
